This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the
actions prohibited by WebsiteESP. WebsiteESP reserves the right to modify
the terms of this AUP at any time, effective upon posting of the modified
AUP on this site.
WebsiteESP provides powerful tools to create your
business website. As a member of WebsiteESP, your site is part of a larger
network of WebsiteESP e-business sites. As part of this network and as a
requirement of continued participation in the network, WebsiteESP requires
that you comply with the standards contained in this Acceptable Use
Policy. You agree that WebsiteESP has the right to enforce this AUP in its
sole discretion.
No Illegal Use
WebsiteESP Services may only be used
for lawful purposes. You shall comply with all applicable laws,
regulations, or conventions including without limitation those related to
data privacy, international communications, exportation of technical or
personal data, and federal state, or local laws or regulations that are
applicable to your business.
Prohibited Uses
WebsiteESP reserves the right to
determine what constitutes net abuse and objectionable conduct. If
WebsiteESP believes, in its sole discretion, that a violation of this AUP
has occurred, it may take responsive action, including but not limited to,
permanent removal of illegal or inappropriate information or content or
suspension or termination of your access to the WebsiteESP Services.
Examples of objectionable conduct and content that violate this AUP are:
Posting or linking to any information that is
obscene, pornographic, grossly offensive to the online community, or
exploitive of children; Planning or performing illegal activities, such as
building a bomb or counterfeiting money; Advertising or conducting a
lottery, a pyramid scheme, an illegal contest, or the like; Offering or
linking to offers of any products or services that are unlawful in the
location at which the content is posted or received; Posting any content
that defames, abuses, harasses, threatens, or otherwise violates the legal
rights (such as rights of publicity or privacy) of any third party;
Introducing viruses, worms, harmful codes or Trojan horses; Spamming,
flaming or other similar activities.
Before you use the WebsiteESP services to receive,
upload, download, display or distribute any third party information or
content that is protected by intellectual property laws, you shall have
acquired the legal right to do so from the owner or authorized licensee of
such information or content.
Violations of system and network security are
prohibited. You may not misuse system resources including but not limited
to employing posts or programs that consume excessive CPU time or storage
space; permitting use of mail services, mail forwarding capabilities, POP
accounts, or auto-responders other than for the subscriber's own account;
or resale of access to CGI script based tools installed on our servers,
etc.
